Rotary Club of Belfast

Rotary Ireland District Governor 2021-22

DG Dave Murray 15.11.21The Club was delighted to welcome Rotary Ireland District Governon Dave Murray to the zoom meeting Monday 15 November. He noted he was pleased to be 'with' the Club again if not in person and congratulated, and commiserated with, President Ken on his 2nd term of office!

He noted that he was in his 5th month and it was a weird and strange year. He pointed out that Covid has posed difficulties for clubs but Rotary has come through it well and paid tribute to clubs for keeping going and although zoom has been invaluable to keeping in touch it has meant that we cannot enjoy the usual fellowship of meetings. He also congratulated the Club and in particular PP Bryan Johnston for the extraordinary history for hosting Scholars noting Belfast is the leading Club for Scholars' support.
