Rotary Club of Belfast

Mental Health Matters

Letitia Fitzpatrick 28.03.22Guest speaker at the Hybrid meeting in the Europa Monday 28 March was Letitia Fitzpatrick who in her very personal address reminisced about her interesting life history and her previous depression and mental health issues and how Rotary holds a special place in her heart from her days in Australia when she saw and admired the work of Rotarians first hand.

She concluded that many things can help coping with depression: make the best of it, be social, volunteer, keep in touch with friends have family reunions, keep a diary, realise there is someone worse off but most of all find things you love doing.
