GET SET to be Hired

Get Set LaunchThe first copy of the unique, specially developed, GET SET to be Hired Resource Pack for young people was presented to Honorary Member The Lord Mayor Councillor Máirtín Ó Muilleoir at the Club Monday 10 February 2014. The pack aims to help young people apply for a job who may not have the confidence, qualifications or communication skills to access the employment market.

Welcoming the resource the Lord Mayor said: "This new resource pack is a fantastic initiative. It provides a unique opportunity for our young people to improve and build upon their employability skills, that will hopefully lead to exciting prospects for them in the future." He also congratulated the Club on its constant support for the community helping others.

The pack is a joint initiative of the Rotary Club of Belfast, YouthAction NI and the Ulster Bank supported by the Department of Employment and Learning's Collaboration and learning Fund. Full details of the launch and pack can be seen here.
