Club hears that Belfast is now designated as a "Must Visit City"

Speaker Rachael McGuickin, Director of Business Tourism, Visit Belfast gave a fascinating and most informative address, which was well received by members and visitors.

She highlighted the growth of tourism and future planned developments, the status of Belfast as a world class, exciting new destination on the rise now designated as a "Must visit City", the growth of cruise ships and the role of Visit Belfast and its 'Ambassadors'.

She stated that it was an honour to address the Club as she had been involved in the bidding for the Conference to come to Belfast in 2012 and was very proud that it had come and that it was the largest Convention to be held in Belfast this year generating £1.2m to the economy.
