We were delighted to welcome to the Club on Monday 25 January Alexander Cellier from the Rotary Club of Lavaux Club near Lausanne who explained he is on a short concert tour of NI and will be playing in Belfast on Saturday 30 January at 19.30 in Dunmurray Presbyterian Church. He will be playing the organ and accompanying a panflute virtuoso Ulrich Herkenhoff who has played with symphony orchestras all over the world and recorded many film soundtracks, such as Lord of the Rings. The concerts will feature Romanian improvisations for organ and pan flute. More information can be seen here.

He loves transforming everyday objects into instruments and at the Club gave a rendition of "La Vie en Rose" on a red rose that he presented to member Hilary Gault! After the meeting he also gave an impromptu cabaret which was enjoyed by all.
