Rotary Club of Belfast

Christmas Party 2016

006The Club were delighted to provide their traditional Christmas Party for some of the children of Mitchell House School. As in previous years it was another resounding success, enjoyed by the children, staff and, not least, by the Club members who attended. The enthusiasm is contagious and even Magic George excelled his wonderful usual hilarious self. Having had the drinks and snacks provided Santa (who again bore a remarkable resemblance to former member Past President Courtenay Thompson) distributed the presents which were described by one staff member as "just what they want"!

As always, those who were there were left with amazing special memories of the squeals of delight, the peals of laughter and sheer enjoyment from all the children and staff and the Rotarian 'elves'! Confirming how beneficial this project is the school were very grateful and the Club thank all who attended or contributed in any way particularly Mark Davidson (organiser), PP Brian Clements and PP Brian Ferguson for organising respectively the presents and the refreshments.
