YouthActionNI News

YANI VoteYouthAction NI has been shortlisted for an Ulster Bank Skills and Opportunities Fund grant for their Skills for Success project.

One of 6 projects shortlisted in NI the winner will be chosen by public vote so they are looking for support to help them help young people by voting for the project online here.

The project will give 180 young people (urban and rural) unique opportunities to take part in creative employability, entrepreneurial and money management training, to access business mentoring, gain recognition for structured volunteering and to achieve relevant qualifications including ASDAN Youth Achievement Awards.

In particular, they will engage with those experiencing disadvantage or isolation, with poor qualifications or facing multiple barriers to learning. They will support them to gain skills for learning, work and living; helping them build a portfolio to use for job applications, self-employment and further training/education.
