Engage Rotary Change Lives

2013 141 July 2013 sees the beginning of a new Rotary year with Club, District and International Presidents and Officers beginning their terms following the RI President's theme Engage Rotary, Change Lives.

Club President Ken Morrison received his Chain of Office at the handover meeting held at the Royal Belfast Golf Club (more here) and he hopes to lead the Club forward and increase membership.

For the first time ever there is a lady District 1160 Governor – Verity Swann - and a lady President Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland with Nan McCreadie.

Rotary International President is Ron Burton who sets the challenge in his theme for 2013-14 urges every Rotarian to get involved, to get engaged, and to change lives.

Membership of the Club is an incredibly rewarding and enjoyable experience and we are actively looking for new people to invite to join and breathe new vibrancy and ideas into the Club and take Rotary into its second century in Belfast.
