Banners from Beaune

Past President Maurice Brooks handed over to President Elect Karen Blair, at the meeting Monday 23 July, Rotary Club of Beaune and District 1750 banners presented to him in the recent Club trip to the Burgandy and Champagne area of Beaune. He expressed thanks to former member Derek Forshaw and Sandra for the fantastic programme and welcome they arranged. He also reported a thank you email sent to Derek by Beaune Club President Joel Guevenue noted: Your Irish friends have been great. I had the impression I already knew them, like long-time friends.
