Rotarian Visitors Welcomed

ExchangingBanners2Dale Singleton Lagan Valley Club VisitorThe Club were delighted to welcome to the October 27 Club meeting 2 visitors - Rotarian Dale Singleton, Lagan Valley Club and Dietrich Bilger, Immediate Past District Governor (District 7950) Rotary Club of Scituate, MA. Rtn Dale (pictured left) explained that the Lagan Valley Club were having "Break Out Week" when they have no Club meeting and members each visit different Clubs.

IPDG Dietrich Bilger advised he was in Belfast to attend the 5th annual conference of the Forum for Cities in Transition which was attracting around 100 delegates from 14 cities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa to discuss and learn from each other how to address some of the diverse challenges they are facing. He was attending as an observer to outline to the delegates the resources they may have through the Rotary Clubs within their midst to help tackle the projects they agree to during the conference. He exchanged banners with Immediate Past President Ken.
