The Importance of Youth Service

Guest Speaker Grainne Bagnall, District Youth Services Chair, spoke enthusiastically to the Club Monday 17 November about the importance of Youth Service in Rotary highlighting what Rotary is doing for youth and how they are doing in their communities.

She would like all Rotary clubs to engage with young people on some level with programmes aimed not just at the privileged but at those who need help. She stressed the importance of what the young people who are helped by Rotary Youth Services are doing for the Rotary movement and that Clubs should keep in touch with and follow up their alumni.
