Happy Birthday Inner Wheel Club of Belfast

The Club is delighted to wish the Inner Wheel Club of Belfast a Happy 80th Birthday. 

The Club presented a cake to mark the occasion at a delightful party, with a 30’s theme, which was held in Malone Golf Club. The cake was cut by Patricia Rundle, mother of VP Alan and a daughter in law of founder member Mrs Ethel Rundle - shown here with President Ann Ferguson and Sheila Johnson.

Members looked resplendent draped with hats, gloves, furs, feather boas and pearls and all enjoyed the memorabilia displayed and 30’s music playing.

On behalf of the Club, Secretary Rosemary passed on birthday greetings.· District greetings were given by Chairman Olive Harvey and twice PP Sheila Johnson (herself the age of the Club) gave a wonderful toast.

The gathering was treated to some brilliant entertainment with a light-hearted look at the 30’s by VP Rosie Clements, Committee members Judy Hinds and Helen Minford - shown right with the pink feather boas!
