Inner Wheel is 95
The Club greatly congratulates the Inner Wheel Club of Belfast who celebrated 95 years since its formation on Wednesday 14 October in Malone Golf Club. The lunch brought together members from many Inner Wheel Clubs across Ireland along with a strong turnout from our Club.
President Sheelagh Brown welcomed the Rt. Hon. Lord Mayor of Belfast, Cllr. Róis-Máire Donnelly and District Chairman of Inner Wheel Ireland, Mrs. Catherine McCaul (pictured far right), both of whom addressed the gathering. President Heather proposed the toast to Inner Wheel, PP Sheelah Johnson shared a fascinating history of the Club and PP Hilary Brooks offered a warm vote of thanks.
The lively chatter that filled the room after the delicious buffet was a clear sign of how much everyone enjoyed the occasion and the chance to celebrate together.
