Visit from the Rotary Club of Kingston April 2015

Dinner 3We enjoyed a fantastic fellowship visit over the RIBI Conference weekend 09-13 April 2015 with 11 new and renewed friends from Kingston Rotary Club. These, usually biennial, visits began 22 years ago when the daughter of one of our members moved to Kingston and are always ones to look forward to full of good times and friendship and, as ever, this one certainly was.

As well as attending conference events we had group dinners in The Markets and Made in Belfast Restaurants, at which we were also delighted to welcome President of the Dublin Club Tom and Maura O'Neill, whilst hosts entertained separately at other times. The busy schedule ended for some on Sunday afternoon, 6 attended the Club meeting on Monday where they were warmly welcomed and some have even stayed on for a few days to further explore Belfast, the North coast and Dublin.

Those attending the Club meeting were:

President Lynda Rowland thanked the Club for the boundless hospitality extended to them and heartily congratulated the Club on the fantastic Conference presentation. She noted that she was looking forward to when we go back to them.

We look forward to our fraternal return visit and our thanks are particularly due to those who hosted and to organiser PP Brian Clements.
