The Club is honoured to be named as a 1 of only 17 Gold Partner Rotary Clubs of ShelterBox, having raised a total of £9,750 in 2022/23 Rotary year.
ShelterBox are hugely grateful for the support of Rotary. Their Chief Executive, Sanj Srikanthan, notes: “Rotary members have been with us every step of the way, whether that’s supporting our mission through awareness and fundraising, helping us get aid into countries, or introducing us to important local government contacts."
ShelterBox point out that together with Rotary’s support, they were able in the last year to make a huge difference to so many lives in 11 countries – Turkey, Syria, Pakistan, Ukraine, Malawi, Cameroon, Yemen, Somalia, Ethiopia, Burkina Faso and Mozambique – and now more than ever, their partnership with Rotary is fundamental to what they do.
