Rotary Club of Belfast

What we do Overseas

International Service is a key aspect of Rotary life and The Rotary Club of Belfast's support for communities around the world has been substantial. Many of these people are without access to some of the most basic human rights: food, shelter, sanitation facilities, education and healthcare. Rotary mobilises rapidly in the wake of human and natural disasters to provide emergency support, as well as implementing longer term projects to bring economic and community development.

Club Members have fundraised and used their skills and links to Clubs in other countries to benefit local communities and respond to disasters.

The Rotary Club of Belfast has currently chosen to support the following projects as described on these pages, though other projects are incorporated as and when the need arises. Click on images to view.

The Club has also supported several other projects in earlier years which can be seen here
