IMG 5977IMG 3052The Club was delighted to meet up with San Antonio Club Rotarian Joan Kearl and Mary McCarthy a student from San Antonio Trinity University after they had completed a week's attendance at a Corrymeela Peace Conference. As the Club were not meeting during July President Ken was delighted to meet them on Monday 22 July over coffee at YouthAction's Beans and Dreams Cafe joined by Club members IPP Steven Costello, PPs David Boyd, Brian Clements and Alan Rundle and Rtns. Malcolm Griffiths and John O'Carroll. An interesting discussion was had with YouthAction's Senior YouthStart Youth Worker Sean Madden, Olivia who is responsible for the Beans and Dreams Cafe and senior youth worker for peace-building Mark Clegg, covering topics such as the Club's relationship with Youth Action, plans for future Rotaract activity and ongoing links with Corrymeela and Seeds of Hope. Before the meeting the Americans attended part of a Rainbow Factory rehearsal.
