Belfast Met’s Generation Chef Finalists

The Club is delighted to be sponsoring teams from the Belfast Met in the Rotary Generation Chef competition and thoroughly enjoyed sampling the delicious fare at the last Belfast Met heat Thursday 27 March. 3 young talented teams, comprising 2 chefs and one front of house server, vied for a place in the final to be held between the 6 Regional College winners on 01 May. The judges, visiting professional culinary chefs Conor Johnston and Brian McCann from Deanes and front of house judge Jorge Mineguez from the Galgorm Group gave one-on-one feedback after the event, encouraging all those who entered. The worthy winning team they picked were chefs Rowan Graham and Aaron Agnew and Front of House Jayne Bracken who will now represent the Belfast Met at the competition final - we wish them success.
