Human Trafficking in NI

On Monday 7 March Speaker, Mark Parsons from the PSNI, discussed the existence and extent of Human Trafficking and Slavery in NI. He explained that trafficking was the "movement of people" not just from country to country but also from house to house, street to street, hotel to hotel etc. into conditions of exploitation. He asked all members of the public to report any suspicions they may have to the new dedicated Trafficking Unit. This well received address was followed by a wide range of questions.
