Rotary Club of Belfast

Be a Gift to Crumlin Appeal

BeAGiftforCrumlinSpeakerSpeaker Daniel O'Reilly, RC Monaghan, gave a heart-felt address to the Club Monday 16 May on the District "Be a Gift to Crumlin" Appeal for the Parent's Accommodation Unit (PAU) in Our Lady's Children's Hospital, Crumlin, Dublin. The unit is funded entirely by parental contributions and donations from outside organisations; it is extremely under resourced and outdated with decor dating back to the sixties but is a clean resting and 'retiring' space within 2 minutes walk of all wards where parents can take time out and even cry in their own space. They are looking to raise £65,000 to refurbish the bedrooms.
