Hon Member Daniel J Lawton, US Consul, visits Club

We were delighted to welcome to the Club Monday 26 October Hon. Member US Consul Daniel J Lawton who gave a fascinating and informative overview of the mechanisms of a US Presidential Election, which are very different to the UK. He concluded his well-received address with his answer to the question "Who will win?..... American Democracy!". Thanking him President Ivan presented him with the latest copy of the Club History.
