Spring into Summer Lunch

IMG 1004A very enjoyable Spring into Summer Lunch was held on Sunday 21 May at the CI Sports complex.

33 members and guests enjoyed a delicious buffet of gammon, prawns and coronation chicken with a range of salads followed by a Summer Roulade with fresh berries as well as a glass of wine.

After lunch the gathering was treated to a musical journey from around the world by musician Alan Crawford during which he played several instruments including a mandolin, harmonica, flute, saxophone and keyboard!

It was also a delight to see Campbell and Gaile Morton on the dance floor again!

Inner Wheel Club of Belfast Secretary Beryl Crawford drew the ballot and thanks are extended to all who generously supplied prizes and bought tickets.

President Steven noted everyone had enjoyed a fantastic day with great fellowship and thanked all for their support. He particularly thanked PP Brian Clements for organising the lunch and, with Jenny Boyd, for providing the food; as well as Rosie Clements and PP David Boyd for all their hard work, help and support.

Although aimed as a social 'get together' event, it raised £800 for the Trust Fund.
