Rotary Club of Belfast

District Conference 2023

01.conferencePresident Steven and several Club members attended a stimulating Annual District Conference held this year 29 September-01 October in the Killyhevlin Hotel, Enniskillen.

It was an excellent event with very interesting and inspiring speakers and entertainment. Speaker topics included the National Trust, ShelterBox, the Environment, Purple Community Fund, District Youth, Corrymeela Peace Project, District Nepal Project and many more. At the Fellowship Evening on Friday night the entertainment included the unusual sight of Scottish and Irish Dancers dancing together and listening to the harmonious tones of the Silver Tones Male Voice Choir; Bello Duo had everybody singing and on their feet at the District Governor's Ball on Saturday night at which the Club was particularly pleased to again be able to share fellowship with members of the Rotary Club of Dublin.

All members there were enriched by the whole experience and the Club is looking forward to attending next year's Conference which will be held in Dun Laoghaire.
