Rotary Club of Belfast

A Fabulous foot-tapping extravaganza!

06.2064The Amazing Toccata produced the fabulous foot-tapping evening we had hoped for plus a lot more... This memorable concert staged in Bangor Grammar School had the 260 strong audience clapping and singing to a very wide selection of music from Queen to Les Miserables along with Elton John, Simon & Garfunkel, Billy Joel and Elvis to mention just a few! The 8 soloists, chorus and orchestra played and sung their hearts out for over 2 hours and during the interval patrons enjoyed a chat over a glass of wine or cordial (for a donation) and bought ballot tickets.

Our thanks to the Club members who attended, brought parties or who supported the event in other ways through donating, selling tickets and being sponsors; to the members of the Donaghadee Club and the members of the public who attended all supporting the event so generously.

02.2198The Rotary Clubs of Belfast and Donaghadee's nominated charities Glebe House (more here) and Rotary Ireland Project H2O (more here) will benefit greatly from the evening.

Toccata, a non-profit organization, is a group of UK based musicians, who use their collective talents to help support both existing and new charities in their philanthropic endeavours by devising and performing high quality musical productions and we are extremely grateful to Dr Sunil Paulraj for putting together such an outstanding evening's entertainment for these causes.
