Rotary Club of Belfast

Club Participation with YouthAction 2022-23

  • YA22 5Several members were delighted to again participate in YouthAction NI’s latest Youth Empowered Skills Day held Wednesday 23 November led by YouthAction NI’s Maria Perkins (shown left, in red and white, with the with the Dragons from Dragons Den). This is the first event held since before Covid. Club members together with the other Business Partners helped to build up the confidence, life and business skills of young people currently not in work in various sessions during the day including ‘a Dragon’s Den’, CV building, interview workshops and skills rating.

It was a really worthwhile day and as ever Rotary's hands-on practical service was delivered with good humour with all of the practical points of advice taken on board.
